Just after I returned from my vacation to Calgary, Alberta, 18 of the 26 of my kids flew down to LA for a fast, crazy trip. There were two things to be accomplished on this trip, first, was that the kids sang with Chris Daughtry on the Ellen show. Secondly, the kids went to a press conference where they were opening a new flavor of Ben and Jerrys, and raising money for the One Campaign. During this press conference, several of our kids were interviewed. Also, as you can see in this video posted by someone on YouTube, the kids sang a few songs at Ben and Jerrys. The kids got free ice cream, Ben and Jerry themselves were there, and Chris daughtry and his band came and hung out with the kids. Then, that afternoon, the kids went and shot the song Home with Chris Daughtry. It aired Tuesday morning. It was a quick trip for those people. Auntie Amanda and I stayed in Calgary with the children that were left behind. We spoiled them. We took them to the Calgary zoo, out to dinner, out to Horton Hears a Who, and to a museum. I think the kids that went to LA were a bit jealous of the kids who stayed behind, becuase we let them do so many things that they don't usually get to do. Here is a video of the kids singing in Ben and Jerrys, and also the kids singing with Chris Daughtry on the Ellen Show.
